In the morning, a miracle seemed to take place as everything from traffic control to balloon launchings gave the appearance of perfection. Hopefully, some of my pictures below convey the colorful beauty of the event.
Enjoy
Last weekend I had the pleasure of leading a merry band of photographers from our Photo Club on an overnight trip to capture the action of the balloon festival. Although the Saturday evening was less than what we expected, the Sunday festivities more than made up for it. There seemed to be a lack of organization both on the launching field and in the access to the balloon activities. The traffic leaving the area prior to the end of the evening's balloon glow left all in our group the feeling of never returning. In the morning, a miracle seemed to take place as everything from traffic control to balloon launchings gave the appearance of perfection. Hopefully, some of my pictures below convey the colorful beauty of the event. Enjoy

Mort, these are wonderful. They all give the feeling of joyfulness. I'm especially drawn to the spinning hula hoops. Thanks for a great shoot. Havasu might not have been organized, but you certainly were.

Great shots. We had similar traffic problems at a Temecula Balloon Glow. I forwarded your link to Matt.
